new town, new clothes, new liberty,
new clubs, new friends and lots of laughs;
and for you, the world was not enough.
One of your friends was this guy;
you really liked him, never told him, you were too shy.
you were certain that there was no rush;
he liked you, too, and you enjoyed the blush.

then you found out that he was dating your friend.
You were too slow – but still:
she knew how you felt but she went in for the kill.
You couldn’t bear watching them holding hands,
but then again, you’d be loosing two friends.
