Track 1: I Hope You’ll Love Me Someday
(1)
If I asked you, would you hold my hand?
If I told you, could we still be friends?
I adore you, there’s nothing left to say
but I, I hope you’ll love me someday.
(2)
If I called you, would you sit and smile?
Would you daydream and think of me a while?
I am for you, there’s nothing in our way,
and I, I hope you’ll love me someday.
(Bridge)
We have histories, we have memories
and funny scenes.
We are meant to be,
and I’m waiting for you to see…
(3)
If you loved me, I would keep you safe.
I would hold you, we could sleep all day.
I adore you, there’s nothing left to say
but I, I hope you’ll love me someday.

Friend Of The Family

Track 2 & 4: Friend Of The Family
(1.)
Ten years ago, you started university,
new town, new clothes, new liberty,
new clubs, new friends and lots of laughs;
and for you, the world was not enough.
One of your friends was this guy;
you really liked him, never told him, you were too shy.
you were certain that there was no rush;
he liked you, too, and you enjoyed the blush.
(2.)
You had a good time and so it went;
then you found out that he was dating your friend.
You were too slow – but still:
she knew how you felt but she went in for the kill.
You couldn’t bear watching them holding hands,
but then again, you’d be loosing two friends.
You decided to stay close;
perhaps it won’t last…who knows?
(Chorus) And you would be the
Friend of the Family, Friday night babysitter,
shopping trip company, birthday party dress-fitter.
Hardest place you’ve ever been in;
you’d do anything to be with him.
(3.)
As her bride’s maid by her side
with so much to say and so much to hide.
He looked so smart in his suit…
and this all led you to conclude:
You would keep her in your life;
love her as a friend and hate her as his wife.
It hurts and feels good to be close,
dreaming it won’t last…who knows?
(Chorus) And you are the
Friend of the Family, Friday night babysitter,
shopping trip company, birthday party dress-fitter.
Hardest place you’ve ever been in;
you’d do what it takes to be with him.
(4.)
You mind the kids one Friday night,
watch TV by their fireside.
They come home, just a quick “Hello”,
she goes straight upstairs to check on Jenny and Joe.
He sits down with you, and over tea
he tells you about the movie and their tragedy.
Five years married, time has shown:
this thing mightn’t last…who knows?
(Chorus)
(5.)
And you listen, you’re his friend.
#SecretlyHoping that he’d understand.
You look him in the eyes as you say goodnight,
he just takes your hand…and smiles.

Track 3: No Rules
(1)
We all have our dreams where all is possible.
There are no rules, it seems that we’re untouchable.
We feel like rebels taking our dream across town.
We’re singing a song to capture all our dreams in sound.
(Chorus)
It takes a soundtrack to help us realise:
There are no rules in songs, there are no rules in life!
(2)
Nobody needs to know what your dream is about.
All you’ve got to do is go and dream it loud.
Don’t tell them what you’re searching for! Don’t tell them what you’ve found!
You’re singing a song to capture all your dreams in sound.
(Chorus)
We have a soundtrack to help us realise:
There are no rules in songs, there are no rules in life!
(Bridge)
You’re in the limelight, you hit the big deal.
Ain’t as hard as it seems!
Date your neighbour’s wife, give her a good feel.
This is all in your dreams.
And you race your car, put on a big show
and come in in first place.
And you tell your boss, tell him where to go
right in his face!
(3)
We all have our dreams where all is possible.
There are no rules, it seems that we’re untouchable.
We feel like rebels taking our dream across town.
We’re singing a song to capture all our dreams in sound.</pY
(Chorus)
It takes a soundtrack to help us realise:
There are no rules in songs, there are no rules in life!

Track 5: The Time Will Never Be Better
(1)
Looking back, I should have been bolder,
should have taken the risk, should have told you.
Looking back, I should have said it,
should have taken the risk, and now I regret it.
(Chorus)
If I met my younger self somehow,
I’d say: “The time will never be better than it is now.”
(2)
Looking back, I should have seen you
when you took the risk. It could have been you.
Looking back, you should have got my attention
despite all intervention.
<pY(Chorus)
If I met my younger self somehow,
I'd say: "The time will never be better than it is now.”
(Bridge)
Looking back at all those chances
and moments I’ve missed at my expense.
If we don’t try, we won’t know the answer
and will have to live with the way our plans are.
(3)
Looking back, I should have been bolder,
should have taken the risk, should have told you.
Looking now, I know it is better,
taking the risk for someone that matters.
(Chorus)
If my younger self could see me somehow,
he’d know: The time will never be better than it is now.
